Stuart Bond is new to the staff as the senior pastor. He arrived June, 2007 after serving 15 years at a church in Washington State that grew to 1600 people coming every Sunday. Stuart holds a Doctorate in Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master’s in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Family Study Center. Stuart likes snow skiing, taking walks with his wife, and going out to dinner with friends. He and Cindy are the parents of Tyler (24), Brynn (21), Geoff (21) and Andrew (18). “What I want in a church is a place where we can reach out to one another no matter what we are facing. I also want a church that laughs together and loves each other. We all need to remember that Jesus came to give us life that is overflowing. Emmanuel is a loving church home that is willing to deal honestly with life’s issues. We also know that Jesus Christ will call us to a vital, new beginning.” |
